In the year of the great tide, when the moon hangs lazy and the sun wears a crooked grin,

the Contest That Is Not a Contest shall rise again.

No longer shall the youth assemble in fixed factions.

Nay, each soul shall enter alone

But lo! From these wandering wave-seekers shall settlements be born —

Camps of salt and laughter, forged in spontaneity and sunburn.

Each shall gather with strangers

to raise banners of nonsense and build sanctuaries of shade and surf.

These beach-bound clans shall not battle, but bond over bountiful libations. 

For this is no realm of isolation,

but a bazaar of barefoot prophets and sand-dusted nomads.

Wander ye freely from one to the next —

to trade tales, swap sunscreen, or sip the sacred coconut.

This is not a contest.

This is the dance of tribes unbound.

So heed the call, rider of foam and folly:

Step forth alone — and find thy tribe.

We invite you to join us for the annual Logstradamus Surf Contest on June 28th - a day full of wave dancing, sound vibration, and vibe curation with some of the finest swell seekers around!

All are welcome, but surfers wishing to participate must sign up using the form below and be on the beach for registration by 8:30am.

We look forward to seeing you at the weird and wonderful Logstradamus! The Wizard has changed some things this year - instead of a team format, we are running an individual contest. Instead of building “forts,” show your best beach party vibe with your crew! Instead of wearing intricate and otherworldly costumes, please acquire and wear up-cycled thrift store semi-formal attire and tie it in to your beach party theme. Let’s party!

In exchange for your experience of this mystical event, we kindly request that you:

• Be physically present
• Create new friendships
• Pick up after yourself
• Support your fellow wizards
• Be the best you have ever been 
• Surf, or don’t, just have a good time!

There will be plenty of games, music, and fun all day long at Logstradamus with an afterparty to follow!

Prizes will be awarded to contestants for Best Surfer, Best Beach Party, Most Valuable Blazer, etc.
